Although the
club has a new name, new owners and even a new address, it's actually
still in the same location. It's larger than originally and the new large
dressing room is now a lap room. Since this review was written, the club
has been remodeled and there is now only one stage.
It's still a little hard to find unless you know where it is. Go east
on Mississippi off of Bundy (north of Olympic) and the club is in an
industrial one story building on the south side of the street. Cover is
$10 or $5 with newspaper ad.
The club is a little hard to find but just turn east on Mississippi off of
Bundy (north of Olympic). It's in a one story industrial looking building
across the street from Staples. As far as I could tell, there is NO
parking lot. You can park on the street but check the posted signs
carefully. You can also valet your car but I don't really know where they
take the car. Personally, I never valet.
This is a very small club
but it is new and clean. The stage is setup like a miniature version of
The Gentlemen's Club
with 2 runways connected at the back. The runway ends in a circle with a
pole in the middle. To conform to current laws, there is a handicap
elevator against the wall where the stages meet. There is a micro bar to
the left, and the bathrooms, dressing rooms are to the right rear. This
club is so small, there is virtually no seating other than at the stage or
bar. The 2 stages can seat about 50 people and the bar can seat 4.
There are 5 private booths to the right and 2 to the left. At 11pm on
Friday, they only had 7 dancers but 5 were good lookers and all were
acceptable. Many Fantasy Island defectors there (just for the week)
because the manager used to work there. Interesting that they dance nude
for the grand opening week. Since my last visit here, they have added low
mileage lap dances (like sister club Gentlemen's Club). The private dances
and lap dances are $20, and for now, the dancer keeps all. All the dancers
were making good money from what I could see. While I was sitting at the
bar, a dancer cashed in $200 in singles every time she went up on stage.
Since there were only 7 dancers with 2 stages open, she went up often.
Although the mileage varied, I would rate it a 2.5 on my scale of 0-4.
Some Stevie Wonder with feeding by 1 I saw.
One of the bizarre space problems is the men's bathroom. It is just large
enough to contain a toilet (no handicap handle bars) with no urinal and a
sink. That's not the strange part. In order to give it some class (I
guess), they have an attendant in this closet bathroom. This guy stands no
further than 3 feet behind you with no partitions and a bunch of mirrors.
A little too close for my comfort.
I talked to Kieta (from
Fantasy Island)
who is a lovely tall blond, about the dressing room size. Her answer was
to put her hand up and show me her thumb and fore finger one inch apart. I
said, "The bathroom, not my penis size." If you go there, I would highly
recommend her for privates. She's a great tease. I love that.
There is no DJ "booth", just a DJ standing next to a podium. The manager
told me that they got the space next door and will be expanding within a
week. Read: 1-2 months.
Summary:
Parking is a bit of a problem but there is street parking and since the
club is so small, there should be space or just valet. Club is small but
clean and new and their hiring practice is up there.
