King's Cabaret is a small (some might call it cozy, but I prefer intimate) older club located in an industrial area just west of downtown Dallas. The purple and fuchsia painted exterior is reminiscent of the 1950s. It seats approximately 70 with a large screen TV and several smaller TVs located around the seating area. It is one of those places that makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck when you first enter but if you'll hang with it you'll find a genuine friendliness as strip clubs go. There are several video games at each end of the bar. Pay the ten dollars to set in the VIP area. It is well worth it when "lap time" comes. The waitresses, Sherrie and Dawn, have never met a stranger and if you catch Dawn in the right mood she will read your palm for a small gratuity placed between her 38 Double Ds. There is a security guard in the parking lot on most nights and Angela will check you at the door. Don't be worried if she searches you for a gun or knife because if you don't have one she will issue you one. Seriously, the only fight I've ever seen at King's was one slow Monday afternoon when a dancer threw a shot glass at the bartender and they went at it from there. I find "cat fights" kinda interesting anyway. Dale, the day manager, soon dispatched both "ladies", never to be seen again.

Face
Michelle

These dancers are not the Miss Texas types but they are a fine talented group of ladies who will provide you with an afternoon or evening of great fun and entertainment. On days, the leaders of the pack are Michelle and Passion. Michelle is a 23-year-old, four foot eleven, blonde, with an infectious smile, whose hips must be built on a swivel. When she grabs the pole and swings, shakes, and grinds her shapely little ass; it is a wonder to behold and her laps will make your blood boil. Michelle has a little silver bar-bell called George and in recent weeks has added a second, which to my knowledge, has not been named… yet! Passion, on the other hand, is a sultry, 26-year-old, Polynesian beauty who can discuss sports with an intelligence rare among females. She dances with an unbridled abandon that matches her name and I promise her laps could raise King Kamehameha from the dead, with more than enough mileage left over to get you to the moon. She also has a set of silver bar-bells named "Cheech" and "Chong", but only she knows which one is which. These two are a rarity for dancers, with good looks, intelligence and an extremely low "flake factor". Neither of these ladies is FOB but they have a rare grace and charm not often found in those of their profession. If your heart is strong and you like living on the edge, try letting these two "double team" you for an afternoon, but make sure your life insurance is paid up!

Some of the other top dancers during the day are: Amy, a voluptuous blonde who gives good lap; Taundra, a shy, sweet little thing with that FOB look; Tory, a buxom red head; Goldie, a hot little chocolate drop with moves like you've never seen; and Jennifer, a hard little blonde who can suck down a Wellers with enough intensity to take the chrome off a bumper. A promising addition having arrived in recent days is Sierra; a beautiful tall blonde with a fine set of man-made "melons" and she can dance too! With this group, there is not a bad one in the bunch.

At night you will find Candy, a tall blonde with a winning smile. She sports a handsome set of man-made "grapefruits"; dances with enthusiasm, and entertains with style. Obviously, the pick of the litter on nights. Destiny is a dark haired beauty with some very nice moves. Patsy and Alex can also provide an enjoyable evening.

If you stick around long enough you will find the DP and "drama" run high at King's, but I find that interesting. I'd generally rate the DJs as good, in that they don't get in the way of the dancers and understand their place in the great scheme of life. Except for one obnoxious little f*rt who slurs his mindless prattle to the point that it is totally unintelligible and extremely irritating. He obviously thinks guys come to a topless club to be entertained by the DJ. Yea, right, and the Pope is going to open a topless club in the Vatican.

All in all, King's is the "sleeper" club of the Dallas - Ft Worth metroplex. The managers, Dale and Lee, run a good club where the beer is cold and reasonably priced. The dancers will show you a d*mn fine time at a price that is affordable. If you only visit one club, then this is the one you don't want to miss.

In the "old days" a Texan wanted to die with his boots on. I want to die with a cold Corona in my hand, Michelle and Passion giving me one of their patented, sexy and provocative "high mileage" laps in the VIP section at King's. Now that is the way to go!!! IT DON'T GET NO BETTER THAN THIS!

Happy Hunting!

Update: 11/20/1999
Amy, Tori, Jennifer, and Sierra have moved on to parts unknown. Well Amy and Jennifer and Tori, but Jennifer is in Alabama and Sierra is dancing in another club but nobody seems to know exactly where.

Dana, Diamond, Samantha, and Tammy will light your fire, but my favorites are still Passion, Michelle, and Taundra.

Some days this place is slower than molasses on a cold winter morning but others it jumps like a frog on a hot plate. Personally, I like it both ways, each has its own appeal.

This club continues to be number one on my list to wile away the afternoon.

Club

2.0 The beer is cold and that's all that counts in my book.

Dancers

4.0 The key word here is entertainment.

Attitude

4.0 Genuine and friendly.

Nasty Factor

4.0 Enough said, the man with the star reads the Internet too!

Down  Up Definitely, my kind of place! Look past the physical trappings and it will be yours too!
