In recent years the Cabaret Royale and
Caligula XXI have been the two top upscale
clubs in the Dallas area. Now, The Lodge makes it a menage a trios. When
entering The Lodge, opulent and plush are immediately called to mind.
Everything about this place is designed to delude the senses into
believing you have entered an aristocratic and luxurious hunting lodge.
During my visit I kept expecting to see Teddy Roosevelt, John D.
Rockefeller or even H. L. Hunt come strolling through the door. The
interior is decorated in rich woods with enough stuffed animal heads to
drive an animal rights wacko to insanity. The main stage is decorated to
appear as a rocky area beneath a waterfall. There is a complete staff to
attend to the patron's every want or desire. Waitresses, bartenders, bus
boys, rest room attendants, shoeshine persons and most importantly; the
most beautiful dancers in Dallas. There is fine food, fine wines and fine
cigars available to satisfy the pallet and fine dancers to satisfy the
senses of sight with excellent music to satisfy the sense of hearing.
The dancers perform on six stages with the majority in the main room
and a smaller group in a secondary room with a more subdued atmosphere.
There was more than amble parking. All the parking around the club
building was valet with a well-lighted self-service lot immediately across
the street and only a very short walk.
While I normally don't partake of the food at gentlemen's clubs, I
decided that my visit to The Lodge would not be complete without sampling
the fare. My server was Amy and she was fast, efficient and had a pleasant
and genuine smile throughout the evening. I made several out of the
ordinary requests such as asking for a recipe and she completed each
assignment with efficiency and a smile. The Manager, Tony, stopped by my
table several times during the evening to check on my satisfaction with
the club. I enjoyed an absolutely superb meal of beef tenderloin, crisp
vegetables with a scrumptious onion marmalade. While beer is my normal
liquid refreshment, it seemed out of place here so I chose the house
Chardonnay and found it far above average.
A gorgeous blonde, Susie, who was friendly, graceful and entertaining,
approached me. As we chatted, she answered most of my questions in a
forthright manner but had a charming way of ignoring those she did not
wish to answer. Most dancers will quickly tell you their age and how long
they have been dancing. Susie just smiled and said, "at least 21" and was
silent to the second question. She had a magnificent set of enhanced
"melons" and seemed almost embarrassed about this fact. Totally out of
character for the average dancer. But then, she is not the "average
dancer". After performing a most sensuous dance for me, she excused
herself to prepare to go on stage. While she was absent a drop dead
gorgeous Thai beauty named Paige came by and danced for me. She was
direct, aggressive and guided my hands to strategic locations; probably to
keep from losing her balance. I have probably never had more invited
"contact" from a dancer, but oddly, I found it somewhat disconcerting. Her
total attitude could be summed up as mercenary. After Susie completed her
set, she returned and we chatted for a while. There was virtually no
pressure to constantly be dancing. She danced for me again twice and each
dance was a stimulating experience. I highly recommend this cultured
performer for a dance or an evening.
Update 6/2000
This Club seems to be commanding more and more of my time lately. I've
spent a couple of recent Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings in its
dark cool recesses and cannot remember having a better experience when it
comes to gentlemen's clubs. The club is divided into two primary rooms.
The main room contains three or four stages with seating on several
different levels. There is a good view of all the stages from just about
every seat in the house. The music is lively without being overbearing. In
my humble opinion (IMHO), this room is best enjoyed during the day and
particularly on Saturday afternoons.
The back room, known as the library, is more subdued with just one
fairly small stage. The music is not as loud and there are numerous TVs
including a large screen TV. There is a bar running the length on one wall
which seems to collect unoccupied dancers thus giving you an opportunity
to "scope out" a goodly quantity of entertainers at one time. It is my
preferred seating area on my visits at night.
I remember once when I was young, my family went on vacation one summer
and we found ourselves somewhere in Arkansas, with a bunch of other
tourists, supposedly at a diamond mine. Naturally the tourists (suckers)
got to look for diamonds (for a fee). I spent several hours sifting
through the dirt and rocks looking for diamonds. I found some pretty rocks
and I even found a couple bright shinny stones, but no diamonds. The
entertainers at The Lodge are like that diamond mine. There are some
pretty rocks; some beautiful bright shinny stones and a couple of pure
diamonds. But unlike the diamond mine of my youth, at The Lodge, I found
the diamonds. Their names are Kelly and Chris!
I was sitting against the wall in the main room one night watching the
main stage and generally surveying the room activity when my thoughts were
interrupted and my attention drawn to a blonde vision standing before me
with dazzling smile, asking if I would care for some company. Although I
had come to The Lodge that evening just to gather information for an
update to my previous review and had no plans for a drawn out encounter
with a dancer, I found myself returning the smile and inviting her to join
me. As I've explained in my FAQ section, I have a definite system for
dealing with dancers. Kelly, being the excellent businesswoman that she
is, has a definite system for dealing with customers. They are mutually
exclusive of each other and therefore it is a minor miracle that we got
past five minutes and one dance with each other. Being somewhat stodgy and
set in my ways, it was only Kelly's perceptive insight and instinctive
ability to recognize that she had to play this customer a little
differently that allowed this relationship to blossom. In turned out to be
a great evening with us talking, her dancing, us talking and her dancing.
For those of you who might not be aware; in Japan there are clubs that
provide "hostesses" to sit with customers and provide company for the
evening. These hostesses do not dance and generally are not courtesans,
they simple provide entertainment and companionship for the evening.
Therein lies Kelly's strength. While she has a beautiful natural body that
is sculptured and firm, her strength is her personality, intellect, and
charm. She dances with a fluid grace and sensuality but her companionship
for an evening is what makes her a truly great entertainer. An evening
visit to The Lodge is not complete without several dances from this very
elegant entertainer.
Also your dances will not be complete unless she presents herself as
"dragon bait" and performs her truly astounding "Tie Trick". Neither of
these embellishments comes with a single dance. They only come with a
double or triple, but I assure you, they are worth the extra dollars. If
Kelly is not available, you would do well the try her friends Crissie,
Tanya, or Bonnie. Chrissie is an amply endowed vivacious blonde with a
mischievous twinkle in her eye. Tanya is an exotic beauty who inherited
all the right genes from her Scottish father and Chinese mother. Bonnie is
a recent addition to The Lodge from the clubs in Southern California. This
auburn haired seductress has a varied entertainment background. Any of
these three ladies will entertain you with style and grace.
The Queen of the day shift, IMHO, is without a doubt an exotic lady who
dances by the name of Chris. If you accept the premise that God created
Eve and she was the perfect woman, then you'll surely believe that Chris
must be her direct descendent and what God forgot her surgeon has
corrected with His divine guidance. A figure of perfect proportions with
breasts like two Texas State Fair Blue Ribbon Ruby Red grapefruits fresh
from the Rio Grande Valley. When I first saw her I was receiving a very
good, even excellent, table dance from another dancer, whose name I
promptly forgot. Normally, I keep tract of dances by noting the stage
dancer and whether she is clothed or unclothed, etc. (Example: A dancer
starts to dance for me; (stage dancer, dark hair, clothed, 1st dance); the
table dancer is still dancing; (stage dancer, dark hair, unclothed, 2nd
dance); the table dancer continues; (stage dancer, blonde, clothed, 3rd
dance); and so on, and so on. So as I said, I was receiving this fine
table dance and I looked up and noticed Chris all the way across the room
on the second stage whereupon she completely broke my concentration and
distracted me for the remainder of the dance. I noticed customers all over
the room ignoring their table dancers and watching Chris on stage. I've
never seen anything like it.
Her table dances almost defy the use of adequate adjectives, but I
shall try. She dances with slow languid grace displaying sensual and fluid
body movements that can best be described as erotic art. She is
mesmerizing and I thing I experienced an Epiphany that afternoon as she
danced for me. When she danced; it was like I didn't exist and she was
alone; dancing for herself. If this was not the case; then this lady is
the finest actress I've ever encountered. Either way, it's an
entertainment experience you don't want to miss. Chris only works three
days a week, mostly Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays, so if she's not around
check out Mindy, or Catalina. Mindy is a fiery redhead with a winning
smile and killer body while Catalina is a brunette femme fatale with all
the right parts in all the right places.
Over the years I've always maintained a list of my favorite all-time
top dancers. In recent years, I've separated that into my all-time top
dancers and all-time top entertainers. Kelly ranks well up on my list of
top five entertainers and my recent experience with Chris puts her on my
list of top five dancers.
On any given night, The Lodge has seventy-five to one hundred dancers
of every shape, size, age, and ethnicity. My only caution is that if you
like your ladies a little on the rubenesque side; then you probably will
not find her here. I've seen nor experienced nothing during my recent
visits that suggests my original ratings were not right on the mark. For
the absolute finest in gentlemen's entertainment visit The Lodge. Tell
Kelly, Chris, or Bonnie, "Texas Bob sent me" and enjoy the time of your
life!
